Hi,

We are running a two node cluster(Active/passive) having muliple resources
of type IpAddr2.

As part of scaling we are now adding more no of resource of type IPAddr.
The problem we are facing is that resource additition is taking
significantly long time.

To be specific we tried with 100 resources of type IPAddr and took us
almost 5 mins to add the resource on hp dl360 machine.

Just to get the relative figure we tried to add 100 Ip's via ip addr
scripts and takes time in miliseconds.

Also wanted to know that is there a way to add multiple resources in a go,
presently we are doing the resource addition serially.

the command we use to create resources is
"pcs resource create resname ocf:abc:IPaddr ip=x.x.x.x cidr_netmask=32 op
monitor interval="0s"."

Also we add some some colocation constraint.

Are we missing something or is normal for pcs resource creation to take
this much time(Almost 3 secs for one IPAddr resource).

.

Thanks & Regards,
Ashutosh Tiwari
