=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0-i, --op-inject=3Dvalue
=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 $rsc_$task_$interval@$node=3D$rc - Inject the s=
pecified
task before running the simulation

=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0-F, --op-fail=3Dvalue
=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 $rsc_$task_$interval@$node=3D$rc - Fail the spe=
cified task
while running the simulation

Note the difference between the two descriptions: before vs. while.
--op-inject is the one you want. =A0It is mostly useful for pretending a
recurring monitor failed and seeing what the cluster would do about
it.

--op-fail on the other hand, is used for pretending that part of the
recovery process failed.

Your follow up descriptio=
n here is great, and makes more sense.=A0 I was reading "Fail the spec=
ified task" as literally, "here's my task, fail it and show m=
e the results"=A0 I'd suggest to add a little paragraph in the man=
page to elaborate these points too.=A0 Also, can you tell me what all of t=
he return codes are?=A0 Do I have to use integers, or do strings like "=
;error" work?

While we're on the subject of documentation / usability, I would al=
so suggest to split out these two features into more parameters.=A0 (What w=
ould happen if I named my resource with an underscore?)=A0 Maybe something =
like:

--op-pre-resource=3D[primitive name]
--op-pre-task=3D[monitor|start|=
stop]
--op-pre-interval=3D[integer]
--op-pre-node=3D[hostname]
--o=
p-pre-rc=3D[error|timeout|other stuff]

Then have similar --op-post-*=
parameters.=A0 Or whatever verbs make the most sense in the spirit of Pace=
maker vocabulary.=A0 (pre/post, before/after, inject/fail, input/output, et=
c)=A0 And, examples are always awesome in man pages too.

Of course, this is all great future version stuff, but that doesn't=
help all of the RedHat 6 people that will be using pacemaker 1.1 packages =
for the next ~10 years until RedHat 7 comes out.=A0 So I suppose documentin=
g the old code in the online docs is a Good Thing.=A0 :-)
