No, that's not all. Ubuntu by default uses upstart (jobs are in
/etc/init) and, by default runlevel is 2 (so /etc/rc2.d), and you've
forgot /etc/rcS.d :)

Just run:

update-rc.d -f clvm remove

as suggested in previous email. That will disable clvm SysV service.
