[Pacemaker] The different between lanplus and open for IPMI

HI all I use ipmi as stonith resource. the interface I use lanplus first, however, it doesn't work. I check log,it shows nodea external/ipmi[3433]: ERROR: error executing 
ipmitool: Error: Unable to establish IPMI v2 / RMCP+ session^M Unable to 
get Chassis Power Status 

so I change interface to open, so ipmi works, will it influence stonith resource work?
