Yep, "that's the way it is." This is expected behavior.

 Standby an Node will also not work properly anymore

This is not. Roll an hb_report and file a bug in at
developerbugs.linuxfoundation.org please. Be sure to assign it to the
Linux-HA project, select Resource Agents as the component.
