I disabled it originally because people complained it was too noisy.
Especially if, as is common for ping/pingd, you have a short
monitoring interval.

I don't understand this bit.

It depends on how you want to use the scores.
If you just want to make sure you can see one of the listed nodes,
then its not really a warning.
