Yes. Perhaps that might be the problem. But before I add the CLUSTERIP stuff to 
the cluster I would test it manually. Only if this works your can make a 
resource from it. Please note that the CLUSTERIP target is only valid for the 
INPUT chain.

I also had bad experience with CLUSTERIP and virtual machines, esp vmware.

Please check if the hash values are correcetly on the nodes. And also trace 
the packages on all possible interfaces with tcpdump.
