I'm not sure how updates are handled prior to GA.
I think they do respins occasionally.

You could try building a newer package from upstream
http://hg.clusterlabs.org/pacemaker/1.1/rev/pacemaker-1.1.2-6.el6

Or just copy in crm_standby from another machine.
