you put me in the right direction,

i checked my syslog and found (drbd 8.3.2):
Oct 19 13:29:11 mysqlHA2 drbd[3369]: ERROR: meta parameter misconfigured, expected clone-max = 2, but found 1.
Oct 19 13:29:11 mysqlHA2 lrmd: [1665]: info: RA output: (res.drbd.mysqlstack:0:monitor:stderr) 2009/10/19_13:29:11 ERROR: meta parameter misconfigured, expected clone-max = 2, but found 1.

sorry for not-checking before.


you mentioned drbd version 8.3.4 so i've done an update from my installed version 8.3.2 to 8.3.4 (compiled from source on RHEL 5.4).
After that, everything worked fine.

Torsten,

the DRBD OCF RA (in 8.3.4) returns "not configured" in the following
circumstances:

- invalid configuration file name;
- missing drbd_resource parameter;
- master-max meta attribute set to 2, but allow-two-primaries not set in  drbd.conf;
- notify meta attribute set to false or unset.

As far as I can see, none of the above should apply to you. Still, any of these errors should be logged rather loudly to the syslog. Did you wash your logs? (please don't. ever.) Aren't you seeing any messages from DRBD, or drbdadm logging error messages in the cluster logs?
