well thats not a good idea, this prevents the resource from being started

You need to define another resource (presumably with
sharedisk=/dev/datab/datac) and depending on what type of dependancy
you're talking about, create an ordering or colocation constraint
between the two.

You might actually be better off asking on the heartbeat list since
the resource you're asking about comes from that project.
