I am using Corosync 1.2.0 that comes with Fedora 12 and have this
error when trying to start corosync service. If I set it to anything

for?
Does it happen regardless of how you set the token timeout?
Thanks,

I did not set token timeout but the manual says the default value for it is 1000. I am new to corosync/openais stuff so I dont quite understand how all these settings work together.
This is expected result. Please see this thread. https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/openais/2009-December/013475.html.
Thanks

I think it makes more sense for the original error message to say "The consensus timeout parameter (1200 ms) must be LARGER THAN 1.2 * token". I had this error when I left everything as default - token = 1000 and consensus = 1200. Setting consensus to 1201 got rid of the error message right away.
Thanks,
Daniel
